A true hacker by nature Kwabena is specialised in producing, managing and monitoring software projects and taking responsibility for the development lifecycle. His technical experience includes:
Application Programming Interface design, implementation and documentation
Agile Methodologies
Full lifecycle management tools
Version control systems
Developing applications for cloud technology
Container technology
As senior engineer with American Express Kwabena worked on teams focused on cross border payments as well as building the API to make interbank payment settlements. He also worked as lead software engineer for World First leading the development team in system automation in line with a pre-existing service oriented architecture strategy.
Through his knowledge and experience Kwabena has been able to develop systems that will allow EURC to power cheaper and faster cross border payments.
As part of his PhD Kwabena has been a teaching assistant at Birkbeck College, University of London since 2013, teaching and helping others achieve their academic goals in his spare time.
Kwabena studied Information Systems Management and has a Mphil/PhD in Computer Science and Information Systems Research Concurrent and Distributed Software Design and Architecture.
